Federation Regulations
The Dojo (training room) is a place for culture and improving.
Any inscription or mark from rival federation may not appear on the
karate-gi (training clothes).
During the training, no jewel or metallic object may be worn.
The clothing, and the cleanliness of the body, must be exemplary (finger
and toenails short cutted).
The salutation is a meaningful act which express the quality of the
feelings. Therefore, it may not be superficial or hasty.
Before entering the training room, the salutation to kamiza is
obligatory. The same mark of respect is required when leaving the training
room.
A collective salutation will be done at the beginning and at the end of
each lesson , stage or other similar event.
When a trainee arrives late to those events, he will wait until the
instructor invites him to join the lesson.
The salutation is obligatory, at the beginning and at the end of each
exercise with a partner : as well, after an advice from the instructor.
When exercising, a trainee may not invite someone more graded, someone
with the same grade but for a longer time than himself, or someone with the
same grade but older than himself.
When exercising, anyone has to help his partner to improve himself.
If during a lesson it is necessary to explain something or to talk, it has
to be done in a low voice. Silence is gold, and the improvment is obtained by
repetition instead of long explanations.
When stopping the training for an explanation or any other reason, a
proper behaviour is required ; no sinking to the ground, no carelessness.
When exercising, it is forbidden to leave the training room, except with
the permission of the instructor.
